New to BRE?

Each year we welcome new students and families to Buffalo Ridge.  Being at a new school and/or moving to a new neighborhood can feel a bit overwhelming. The BREA wants to help our new students and families feel welcome and comfortable at Buffalo Ridge. Whether it is school information or finding out about the neighborhood, we have put together some resources to help students and families acclimate to their new surroundings.  We hope this information along with the BRE and BREA websites prove useful to our new students and families.  If you have other suggestions or ideas, feel free to send them to BREA Co-VPs of Communications

NEW PARENT LIAISON – Christy Smith and the BRE front office staff can provide you with amazing support at BRE and yet there are times when parents are seeking information or are looking to meet other new families outside of school .  The BREA is happy to have Kari Ansay as our New Parent Liaison to help fill this role!  Kari is here to help as she knows the area, knows the school, can connect you with other new parents and families, and can help you get settled by answering questions you might have.

CALENDAR OF EVENTS: Stay informed of all of the events and activities at BRE by visiting this calendar. We encourage you to doublecheck dates and times of activities as they are subject to change throughout the year.

BRE FAST FACTS AND FAQ:  This document can be found at the front office at BRE or read it now to learn some fun facts and helpful information about the school.

PARENT PORTAL INFORMATION: Stay in the know!  The Parent Portal is your hub for managing family contact information, communication preferences, lunch accounts, report cards, and much more.  If you don’t have a Parent Portal account or need to update your email communications so you receive ALL important school and district emails, read the Parent Portal Information Sheet or email Mrs. Major.

FAMILY FUN EVENTS: Mark your calendar and join other BRE families at our fun filled family events. Read more here.
